About “Runner Warming Up Squad!”
“Runner Warming Up Squad!” is a cheer event from the sidelines to warm up the race, supporting 32,000 runners via various performances performed from the sidelines. We have 2,000 performers every year to participate in this event and enjoy favorable reviews from runners.
From last year, seven venues out of whole event venues are established as Nanairo (Rainbow Color) Cheer Station and we engage in cheering activities strongly featuring the Osaka Marathon’s unique cheering style, “Nanairo (Rainbow Color) Cheer” where we use costumes and cheering goods in rainbow colors of red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, navy blue and purple to cheer.
Moreover, runners also come up with colors this year as members of Nanairo (Rainbow Color) Team Competition where all marathon runners participate in the competition divided into seven teams of each color. So Runner Warming Up Squad! should also get off with Nanairo (Rainbow Color) Cheer event all together!!

The members of Runner Warming Up Squad! will get cheer goods (high-touch gloves) in a color matched with your theme color at this station to lift the spirit of runners.
