About Charity

"Running helps someone"

With the slogan of "Making a Rainbow Together," the Osaka Marathon aims to help people develop a deeper understanding of charitable activities and encourage many of those participating in the race—including runners, supporters on the sidelines, and volunteers—to participate in such charity programs.
The Osaka Marathon has the following seven charity themes: "To preserve our beautiful city and livelihood," "To support sports and culture," "To conserve our natural environment," "To support the city of Osaka," "To support families," "To brighten the future of children," and "To support your hopes to live." We hope to pump up the charity programs of the Osaka Marathon by providing opportunities for people to participate in charitable activities in their own way, including as runners, supporters, and cheerers, through the charitable organizations that agree with these themes.
