This year, Nanairo Charity T-shirts will be produced by digmeout, the art project of FM802 / FM COCOLO.

When you purchase charity merchandise, a portion of the proceeds, excluding production costs, will be donated to the charitable organizations of the Osaka Marathon 2027.

  • Artist

    emma

    Born in Fukuoka and based in Osaka. After working for several years as a web designer in content production and branding, became independent. Now active as an artist and illustrator. Specializing in pop and dynamic expression, the artist has created artwork across a wide range of fields, including wall art at the Osaka-Kansai Expo venue, main visuals for events, books, and advertising. At the same time, the artist is also developing a series of artworks themed around “emotional moments.”

    About the Creation of This Project

    I created this design with the image of a presence that gently stays by the runners’ side and cheers them on, so that they can enjoy running with energy and a sense of refreshment. Enjoy the Osaka Marathon! I’ll be cheering you on!

    SHUNSUKE ORITA

    It started completely on a whim. While working at a company, the artist decided to take up illustration as a hobby and taught themselves through self-study. Posting artwork on social media every day became the foundation of the artist's career. His tools are a pen and a smartphone. Inspired by the story of guitarist Steve Lacy, who creates music using only an iPhone, the artist adopted a style of drawing directly on a smartphone screen with a finger. The artist aims to create works that simply capture everyday moments and find beauty in the quiet spaces of life.

    About the Creation of This Project

    As someone who isn't good at long-distance running, I truly admire all of the runners. I created this illustration to honor your passion, courage, determination, and all the effort you've put into preparing for the marathon. I hope it gives you one final push when you need it most.

    TAKATOSHI OKAYAMA

    After graduating from the Faculty of Manga at Kyoto Seika University, the artist began working as a freelance illustrator. In 2013, the artist established Data Creation Inc. and became its Representative Director. The artist mainly creates illustrations for picture books, books, advertisements, and portraits. The artist creates illustrations that make use of the layering and textures of watercolors and colored inks, while also valuing a hand-drawn feel in digital works. The artist’s hobbies are watching movies and taking walks.

    About the Creation of This Project

    For me, having grown up in Osaka, the Osaka Marathon is a very special event. I created this design with the hope that the runners wearing this T-shirt will feel energized and be able to run with all their might.

    AYAKA HATA

    An artist based in Osaka Prefecture. Using vivid colors and intricate geometric patterns, the artist visualizes sensations drawn from personal experiences and everyday life, creating works on the theme of “a world where chaos and harmony coexist.” Through these works, the artist pursues art that draws out the energy within the hearts of viewers. The artist is active across different spaces and cultures, including exhibitions, installations, and visuals for music festivals.

    About the Creation of This Project

    I infused the blazing sun with the passion and energy of running. I would be happy if it could deliver even a little power to the runners and help give them the strength to run all the way to the finish.

    YANG YANG

    Raised in Yamaguchi Prefecture. Currently engaging in creative activity, based in Kyoto Prefecture. Deriving from doodling experience ever since childhood, Yang Yang creates illustrations featuring rounded characters moving about dynamically. Working across a wide range of fields, including event artwork, live drawing, mural production, artist merchandise, and music video animation, she also holds solo and group exhibitions in various locations.

    About the Creation of This Project

    I created this illustration with the image of runners moving through the streets of Osaka with high spirits, as if dancing. I hope you enjoy the experience as you aim to finish the race. I’ll be cheering you on.

    An illustrator. The artist creates illustrations for comedy- and music-related flyers, CD jackets, magazines, books, websites, and more. The artist also works on logos and typography, original merchandise, and portrait booths at events, among other activities.

    I created this design so that people can feel the fun and energy of the Osaka Marathon. I hope its appeal comes across not only to those who wear it, but also to those who see it.

    TOMOMI AWAJI

    An illustrator born and raised in Osaka. The artist expresses a pop and playful world through in a variety of forms, including animated illustrations, acrylic paintings, plush toys, and more. The artist creates animations for advertising, illustrations for books and merchandise, and bridal animations featuring their original character, “Opening Usagi.” At event booths, their hand-printed T-shirts and “animated caricatures” are especially popular.

    About the Creation of This Project

    I imagine people who love marathons put their health first and take good care of their bodies. I wanted to create a cheerful T-shirt that says, “I’m happy I can run again today!” and “Thank you, my legs, as always!”
