How to Enter: Osaka Sports Support Runners

Osaka Sports Support Runners will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Through the hometown tax donation program, one entry right will be awarded to any person who donates 100,000 JPY or more during the application period to either the Osaka Prefecture Namihaya Sports Promotion Fund or the Osaka City Sports Promotion Fund as a donation for the Osaka Sports Support Runners program, or to a person designated by the donor. Participation fee and other charges are required separately.

Open to both JAAF registered athletes (registered for FY2026) and runners who are not registered with JAAF.

How to Apply

Choose either the Osaka Prefecture Namihaya Sports Promotion Fund or the Osaka City Sports Promotion Fund , and make a donation of 100,000 JPY or more. Once your donation of 100,000 JPY or more has been confirmed, you will be notified of the dedicated RUNNET URL and entry code. Please complete your entry by entering the entry code. (Please note that making a donation alone does not complete your entry for the Osaka Marathon.)

Selection of Participants Selection Method

First come, first served. Applications will no longer be accepted when capacity is reached.

Charity Donation

Each participant is asked to make a charity donation of at least two units (500 JPY per unit). Please note that payments are non-refundable once made.

Domestic: 6% of the total payment amount

How to Enter

  1. STEP 1

    Make Your Donation

    Within the application period, choose either the Osaka Prefecture Namihaya Sports Promotion Fund or the Osaka City Sports Promotion Fund and make a donation of 100,000 JPY or more.

    Payment can easily be made by credit card.

    When applying to the Osaka City Sports Promotion Fund, be sure to select Osaka Sports Support Runners (Osaka Marathon) as the project type. If you select any other type of donation, entry to the Osaka Marathon will not be granted. The entry fee is charged separately. Please note that donations made outside the application period below will not be eligible.

  2. STEP 2

    Apply

    Once your donation payment has been confirmed, you will be notified of the dedicated URL for Osaka Sports Support Runners entry and your entry code. Please enter the code when completing your entry.

    Make sure that the entry is submitted either by the donor or by the person designated by the donor. Additionally, applications from corporations are not accepted. Please note that if the entry procedure is not completed within the entry period below, you will not be able to participate in the Osaka Marathon.
