Information on participation

The "Information on participation" contains important information runner check-in to the end of the event. Please use it as a guide for runners. Please read carefully before participating the race.

The "Meeting place map & running course map" contains information on where to change clothes and where to leave your gear on the race day.

The "Meeting place map & running course map" will be distributed at the Osaka Marathon EXPO venue.

Preparation

Preparation ❶ Issuance of Athlete Bib Vouchers

An "Athlete Bib Voucher" is required to register runners at the Osaka Marathon EXPO. Please issue it by yourself in advance.

For issuing the voucher, please access "My Page" in the email of "Osaka Marathon 2026 Runner Registration Information" or in the email of "RUNNET". For detailed instructions, please click on the below.

Confirm the agreements and Health Checklist

In order to issue an Athlete Bib Voucher, you must agree to the Pledge and confirm the Health Checklist. The agreement and other documents must be completed during the issuance process, and the contents of the documents can be found on the below.(Reference document).

Preparation ❷ Identification document check

Identification documents must be presented at the runner registration desk.
Please check the list below and remember to bring this!

Documents requiring only one form for confirmation:
  • Passport
  • Resident Card
  • Personal Number Card (My Number Card)
  • Driver's License
  • Driving Record Certificate
  • Special Permanent Resident Certificate
  • Physical Disability Certificate
  • Mental Disability Certificate
  • Rehabilitation Certificate

  • Certificate issued by a corporation (employee ID card, etc.)

  • My Number Card as your Health Insurance Certificate

  • * The Basic Resident Register Card and health insurance card cannot be used as they have expired.

February 20, 2026 (Fri) 11:00-19:00 (Exhibition area will be opened until 19:30)

February 21, 2026 (Sat) 10:00-18:00 (Exhibition area will be opened until 18:30)

  • * There will be no check-in on February 22(Sun), the day of the race.
  • * Check-in after the above operation hours is not accepted, even if there is a delay in public transportation, so please come with plenty of time.

●ID Check(personal identification)

Go to the personal identification counter and present your smartphone screen or a pre-printed athlete bib exchange voucher and identification document.

2Athlete Bib exchange Counter

●Wearing security band

All runners are required to wear them

Please pick up your athlete bib, etc.

●Charity Goods Pick up

Please pick up charity goods only if you have applied for them at the time of entry.

4Cloak counter

●Checking in your suitcase

You can check-in your suitcases at the cloakroom. You can enjoy the EXPO venue with less luggage.

* 600 yen per suitcase. Payment is cashless only.

5General Information(in Hall2)

●"Heart Supporter Badge" Picik Up

If you have taken a class of first aid, you will receive a "Heart Supporter Badge" in exchange for showing your certificate of attendance. Please wear the badge on your left chest on the race day.

Attachment of Security Band

  • The color changes depending on the type of runner.
  • Please understand that as part of our security measures, you will be asked to wear the wristwatch when you register and to wear it until the race day.
◎Notes
  • *There will be no check-in on February 22(Sun), the day of the race.
  • *Check-in after the above operation hours is not accepted, even if there is a delay in public transportation, so please come with plenty of time.
  • *Receipts for participation fees will not be issued at the reception desk. Please use the statement or invoice issued by your credit card company as your receipt.
  • *Participants with disabilities who will run with a guide runner must bring either a Physical Disability Certificate, a Mental Disability Health and Welfare Certificate, or a Rehabilitation Certificate and register in the same process as general runners. However, guide runners must complete identity verification and registration at the Help Desk (refer to P3).
  • *Please read the above instructions carefully for preparation before registration and items to bring on the day of check-in, and be sure not to forget anything.
